Representation of techniques for calculating the semantic relatedness between concepts that use Wikipedia as a knowledge base

This paper shows the advantages and disadvantages of existing methods for obtaining measures of semantic relatedness between concepts, which use structured knowledge embodied in Wikipedia. The broad aim of this paper is to find the best method that would allow the creation of a system for automated search of Wikipedia. The paper describes systems that automatically calculate the semantic relatedness between the search terms, and a system for an automatic generation of ontologies.
