Application of modified method of viewshed analysis in radar sensor network planning on inland waterways

The paper presents application of the modified visibility analysis, which includes basic radar image distortion and allows performing the appropriate analyses during the spatial planning of radar sensors. Lack of such analysis can lead to incorrect adjustment of the amount of sensors or their technical parameters. Presented method was practically used for radar network planning on inland waters in Poland.
