  • Abstract
    Use of FluidSIM software allows a variety of advantages in development and design process of a turbine governing system and similar hydraulic systems on hydropower plant facilities, like system visualisation possibilites through design process and keeping track with real-time simulation parameters exchange. In paper, design and parameters check process is given, while conducting a real-time simulations. The major parameters are explained as well as the way of choosing and setting of hydraulic components. The goals for hydraulic system design process on hydropower energetic facilities are given. The principes of hydraulic part of turbine governing system functioning and it´s implementation in FluidSIM Hydraulics software is explained. Results of simulation are given and compared to real masurement results obtained from accomplished system on a hydropower plant in Republic of Croatia. Presented software is in use in Control engineeering department of Brodarski Institute in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia.
