Abstract
We have estimated the transmission performance of DP-QPSK based Nyquist-WDM transmission system over 800 km using a combination of optical spectral inversion technique (OSI) and distributed Raman amplifier (DRA). This study is focuses on the effectiveness OSI-DRA towards minimizing fiber nonlinear effects in terms of eye-opening penalty (EOP) and Q value for BER.
