Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out how the electricity consumption can be reduced by reduction in the heat load. In furtherance of our aim, a cold storage has been taken for study and with the help of insulation in the cold storage; heat load has been reduced as it lowers the temperature. Several methods and materials have been discussed in this research and also provide the method of selection of particular material which will be better for insulation of cold storage. Different research papers mentioned in the reference applied few types of insulation method. This research paper, discusses about the technical aspects of selection of Thermal insulation like vapor pressure and vapor barrier for different cold storages.
