  • Abstract
The world has undergone energy crisis for array of decades in which we have not implemented any appropriate theme for the conservation of depleted supplies of gasoline and all petroleum products. Restricting ourselves to renewable sources of energy will be the better solution for their conservation. Bio-fuels are the only alternative sources of energy which can substitute the growing demand. Bio-fuels generated from living organisms or raw plants, produced from the conversion of bio mass are in exhaustive also prevent environment from pollution as well. The process of the bio-fuel synthesis includes extraction of oil from castor seeds containing 80% of glyceride comparably greater than any other seeds, obtaining of ethanol from sweet potatoes as it has high density of starch and then carrying out the trans-esterification process. From these studies we can eradicate the disposal problems by the production of bio-fuel.
