  • Abstract
    A parametric modelling method of contra-rotating axial flow fan based on SolidWorks is presented in order to increase its modelling efficiency. The coordinates´ transformation is developed, by which two-dimensional cross-section parameters of fan blade are transformed to three-dimensional spaces. Then the plane projection coordinates are obtained. Finally, the solid volume model of the fan is built in SolidWorks. Computer simulation analysis is conducted by using FLUENT and the results agree well with the experiments. The parametric modelling method can simplify pre-process in GAMBIT, and is convenient to the research of the contra-rotating axial flow fan with the changeable parameters.
