Abstract
One of the most important technology of the receiving antenna in wireless power transmission is matching technique to receive microwave which reach at the antenna surface. Especially, in the case of the microwave power transmission with high power, energy confinement is significant for human safety and compatibility with other wireless system as well as for efficiency improvement. In this paper, matching condition of the plane wave and infinite array antenna with hemispherical dielectric resonators is discussed. Using rectangular waveguide with PEC and PMC boundary, this matching problem can be analyzed within the cover area of one dielectric resonator. Dielectric loss tangent of the dielectric resonator is used as an ideal matching load. As a result of simulation, the reflection of the receiving antenna has been suppressed to less than -40dB.
