Abstract
In this paper, I theoretically investigates propagation characteristics of surface-plasmon-like modes on an infinite periodic array of enough narrow and deep perfect electric conductor slots with very short period on an optically plasma induced semiconductor slab. I shows the numerical results of the dispersion diagram of the lowest order mode of TM guided wave in the periodic array by mode-matching technique, and discusses about the effect of photoinduced plasma on the surface-plasmon-like modes.
