  • Abstract
    The paper is devoted to Adolf Melezinek as the Founding and Life Honorary President of IGIP. It is an attempt to describe his activity of a lecturer, an author of the book “Engineering Pedagogy” that was translated into many languages, a creator of many theoretical works on Engineering Pedagogy, the founder of the Klagenfurt School of Engineering Pedagogy, and the main disseminator of its ideas. It focuses on the development of Engineering Pedagogy as a branch of academic pedagogy and tries to show the stages and peculiarities of its development.
