Abstract
Due to the big temperature sensitivity of WSS (Wavelength selectable switch) or phase application performance for LCOS (Liquid crystal on Silicon)-based SLM (Spatial Light Modulator), we target to limit the maximum temperature range of LCOS junction temperature. The experiment shows 35–55 C EO corves with little differences while 25 & 65 C deviates more. We have designed our aluminum case with proper cooling configuration for reliable use of SLM in phase applications.
