  • Abstract
    Experimental demonstration of multiservice optical fronthaul provision in multicore fibre with extended range by polarization-multiplexed passive networks. A 25.2 km PON with carrier-aggregated LTE/WiMAX radio-over-fibre transmission over two orthogonal polarizations provides fronthaul service after 150 m of 4-core fibre.
