Methodology of selecting appropriate technologies for constructing telecommunication access networks

Description of a methodology for selecting appropriate technologies for constructing telecommunication access networks in the conditions of a specific locality is given. The methodology is used to select appropriate technologies for constructing the access networks of Ukraine´s largest telecommunications operator (Ukrtelecom). Methodology may be useful for network owners (or designers) as a basis for developing their own support systems for decision making in the matter of developing next-generation telecommunication networks.
