Query execution evaluation in wireless network using MyHadoop

Data is increasing day by day and it is becoming difficult to manage and handle it, be it on e-commerce or social-networking or for corporate use. Complex datasets unmanageable by our conventional database system is often referred to as Big Data. There is lot of theoretical stuff floating around proposing theories how to do it but we have followed a practitioner´s approach wherein, we have worked upon a big data tool and a wireless network dataset considerably larger than usual. To manage Big Data, there are two major tools i.e. MongoDB and MyHadoop. Two major companies offer MyHadoop tool i.e. Hortonworks and Cloudera. We have worked on the software provided by Hortonworks. Pig and Hive are the two major languages on which we work upon to analyze data. Pig is more a scripting language while hive is more a querying language which works on big data. We have done querying in hive editor on our original dataset and computed their response time and analyzed their graphs.
