Abstract
In this paper, reduction of a switching-frequency ripple current flowing to a DC-link capacitor in a single-phase charger which consists of PFC and DC/DC converters is presented. In order to reduce the switching-frequency ripple current of the capacitor without any additional circuit, switching pattern of both converter circuits are discussed using triangular and saw-tooth carrier waveforms. The reduction effect of the switching-frequency ripple current is confirmed by analysis and experimental results, used in PFC and DC/DC converter.
