Abstract
In recent years, many studies indicate that the game-based learning can improve student´s learning attitude and achievement, but it is necessary to combine an effective learning tool. The goal of this study is to develop a game-based learning system based on the two-tier diagnostic tool. By combining the two-tier diagnostic tool and an instant feedback mechanism, the proposed system can detect student´s misconceptions in math during the learning process, and provide students the needed practice. This study investigates the influence of students´ learning attitude and achievement after using the proposed game-based learning system in the math courses.
