Pavement evaluation with AHP based on expert´s assessment

Pavement performance evaluation of highways is the core part of the maintenance and management system of highways. After the deep research of the current study of highway pavement performance evaluation, both at home and abroad, this thesis gives a revelation that domestic pavement performance evaluation is according to the national industry standard but not considering the local climatic environment, pavement material, design and construction, maintenance experience to establish some pavement performance method suitable for the local region. Analytic hierarchy process is put forward on the basis of experts´ evaluation and the general process and operation steps of it are also established.
