  • Abstract
    Highly ordered arrays of ZnO/CIS nanorods have been synthesized on FTO substrates by using ZnO nanorod as template via a low-cost solution method. ZnO nanorod arrays were prepared via a hydrothermal route, and CIS layer were electrodeposited on the ZnO nanorods, then the films were crystallized via an annealing process finally. The structures of the films were characterized by XRD and SEM. The results showed that the samples were constituted of ZnO/CIS nanorod arrays, and the CIS layer exhibited an In-rich phase after the annealing process. The morphology of sample could be controlled through turning the electrodeposition time and the ZnO nanorod growth time.
