  • Abstract
    The deformation of ridge waveguide is unavoidable in the practical application. Thus, this paper studies the influence of deformation of I-shaped ridge waveguide on the transmission characteristics. The finite element method is adopted, the cutoff wavelength and single-mode bandwidth under the different degree of deformation are calculated, and the field structure chart of the main mode and the first higher mode are displayed. These works can provide a beneficial reference for the practical application of ridge waveguide.
