Abstract
In order to enhance the measure accuracy in phase-coherent active radar seeker which is restrained by weight volume, a novel Extended Kalman Filter algorithm using two-dimensional anti-ship missile to target relative movement model is proposed in this paper. First-order Markov process is employed to describe the ship movement and missile to target relative motion model is established by velocity measurement of Inertial Navigation System. The approach can fully take advantage of state variables, thus offering favorable phase-coherent radar seeker measurement error suppressing. It has practical application in enhancing missile strike precision. The proposed approach is validated by simulation in a representative scenario.
