  • Abstract
Cooperative spectrum sensing has a great impact to increase the performance for detecting the Primary User (PU) signal over single node sensing. Recent developments in multiple antenna techniques adjoin a new dimension in spectrum sensing. In this paper, we have proposed a multi-antenna based signal detection for multi bands considering cooperative approach with Rayleigh fading channel. In addition to that, data fusion is considered by ordered sequential method where the sequential fusion is performed by Dempster Shafer (DS) theory-based reliability. The significance and efficiency of the proposed method is justified through analysis and simulation. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed multi-antenna assisted DS-theory based spectrum sensing reduces sensing and reporting time significantly for the cognitive user as compared with the conventional system.
