Abstract
Using numerical simulation, the performance of organic light emitting diode (OLED) based on modified indium tin oxide (ITO) has been investigated. The effects of ITO surface modification in energy barrier reduction at anode side which increase charge carrier injection, transport and recombination have been explained quantitatively. Calculated current balance factor from simulation results also confirmed the efficiency enhancement of bilayer OLED by the ITO work function modification technique.
