  • Abstract
This paper further demonstrates the versatility of the Tapped Inductor Switcher (TIS) analysis method proposed in a previous paper. The aim is to extend the application of this modeling technique to converters containing multiple inductive elements. As a study case, a tapped inductor SEPIC derived dc/dc converter is considered. The study from this paper suggests that the SEPIC can be modeled by two TIS modules, which greatly simplifies the modeling task. The obtained theoretical results stand in good agreement with simulation results.
