Abstract
Having clear vision is important for humans. For years devices were invented to give clear vision. One of this devices are contact lenses. A classification of contact lenses is a either hard or soft type. Hard contact lenses are extremely durable and does not dehydrate but can easily be dislodged from the eye and uncomfortable to wear. Soft contact lenses on the other hand are more comfortable to wear and easier to adjust. The two have their own advantages and disadvantages and different patients have different choices on what to use between the two. But the patients preferences may not be compatible for their eyes. This research uses a mathematical approach on what type of contact lenses are compatible with a patient. A Rough Set Data model was used to determine the compatibility. Parameters on presbyopic and hypermetrope are used to help eye vision diagnostics.
