  • Abstract
For ubiquitous wireless mobile network, micro towers are becoming necessity and feeding them in remote locations, unapproachable to grid, has become even more daunting task. A cost-effective, sustainable, low maintenance and environment-friendly electricity generation is highly solicited, and these can be offered alternatively through renewable energy sources. PV fed battery-less system typically suits such application which can cater to rural intra-village telecom and information system, which are solicited majority during day times. This paper proposes a cascaded high gain single stage micro-converter which does the MPPT and boosts the voltage upto usable level. The scheme evacuates the maximum power amidst insolation changes in a limited range, whereas, the load controller provides the matching of power for maintenance of voltage. The performance of the system is evaluated under Matlab/Simulink environment. Presented simulation results show close conformity with design and validates the effectiveness of the control proposed scheme employed.
