Abstract
Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a broadband wireless technology that promises to high throughput. In order to simultaneously support several mobile users with real time and non-real time applications, the resource management and Quality of Service (QoS) requirements of delay-sensitive traffic should be carefully aware. In this paper, The Delay-Aware with Resource Block Management Scheduling Algorithm in LTE has been proposed with the delay threshold called Cvalue and the RB ratio of RT and NRT traffic in order to satisfy QoS requirements, especially for the RT traffic. Both delay threshold and RB ratio are used to control queue length and packet delay. The simulation results reveal that the proposed algorithm performs better than the PF algorithm for the average packet delay, the system throughput and the packet loss ratio.
