Abstract
This paper deals with a hard ware fault detection occurred on a temperature sensing unit of a wireless sensor node. The temperature sensing unit is equivalent to a tmp36 device and the fault considered is equivalent to parameter change due to hard shock. It is used in many applications in wireless sensor network for detection temperature. The fault detection approaches are based on the model of this sensor which will be extracted from the electrical circuit and its thermal equivalent model. The Luenberger observer and the parity space fault detection techniques are applied on the system and simulated using Matlab/Simulink software.
