Abstract
Frequency selective rasorber (FSR) is a very useful application of frequency selective surfaces, which can not only transmit incident plane electromagnetic waves in its passband, but also absorb the reflected waves at other frequencies. In this paper, a new concept of 3D FSR is firstly described. A generalized equivalent circuit based on multi-mode resonators is then introduced to explain the operating principles. Finally, two examples of 3D FSRs are discussed to verify our design concept.
