Abstract
A quantitative analysis, leading to the design and fabrication of an active microwave frequency tripler, is presented in this paper. Optimum reflective embedding networks are developed which produce a stable design with conversion gain up to +2.9 dB for specific biasing conditions. Simulations show good agreement with measured results
