Abstract
With the rapid development of education information, Online lectures like MOOC system become very popular in today´s higher education systems. The MOOC brings a revolution of higher education. It brings the concept of flipped classroom which reverses the traditional educational arrangement by delivering instructional content, often online, outside of the classroom. How to use the flipped classroom to support the interaction between teachers and students, to stimulate students´ learning interest, and to implement the "student-oriented" education system, are important issues. In this paper, we study a teaching mode which is based on the MOOC´s flipped classroom mechanism for college English teaching. We propose a methodology of how information technology and skills of foreign language teaching are integrated to form a potential higher education strategy.
