Abstract
In daily operations of city buses, it is the uncertainty of bus stations and the scattered distribution of passengers´ waiting places that results in buses delay for a long time in the docking process. This paper designs a bus station parking management system based on a random guidance algorithm, which can guide bus stop behaviors reasonably and reduce the time of idling during the docking. The system forecasts the time of bus stopping based on their historical stopping time, and as a basis, the system assigns the parking reasonably employing a random guidance algorithm, reminding passengers of waiting points by voice broadcast device and LED display device which are set up in the bus station. The entire system is able to respond to complex parking situations and the bus station can provide a new way to solve the problem of buses delay.
