  • Abstract
A distribution network power flow algorithm based on the equivalent nodal injection-current transformation is presented. According to the basic principles of the traditional Newton-Raphson method, the nonlinear power flow equations of the PQ nodes are converted into the linear equations by using the equivalent nodal injection-current transformation. It simplifies the Jacobian matrix of the iterative formula, and most of its elements are constant. The nonzero elements of the Jacobian matrix are calculated by making full use of the sparse technique, it greatly saves the memory space, and improves the calculating speed and efficiency of the proposed algorithm. Finally, the simulation results verify that the proposed algorithm is effective and successful, and has better calculating speed and efficiency, stable convergence, and strong ability of processing loops.
