  • Abstract
Focusing on the absence of systematic indicators and methodologies for evaluating environmental benefits of urban network planning quantitatively, this paper studies and pro poses a new comprehensive evaluation index system and method for urban power grid planning. The model is mainly composed of two parts: (1) A new quantitative index system including pollutant emission, carbon emission, environmental coordination landscape aesthetics, as well as economic feasibility, in which the impacts of DG integration are also considered; (2) A two-stage evaluation method, which combines multiple attributes tradeoff analysis and principal component analysis, to deal with excessive dependence on the subjective judgment in the traditional evaluation methods. The simulation results of a real urban network in China are presented and discussed, illustrating that the proposed model is effective and superior, which helps guide the urban power grid towards an eco-friendly future.
