Securing the Communication Links between U-Healthcare System Components for Protecting Patient Bio-information

Nowadays, u-Healthcare systems have been the center of development for delivering an efficient, timely and patient-oriented health services. The collection of vital bio-information is critical to the success of u-healthcare systems as well as to the security and privacy of patients. This paper deals with the protection of bio-information collected by bio-sensors over the wireless bio-sensor network. The architectural overall top level architecture design of a u-Healthcare system is presented and the security scheme for securing the exchange of messages between u-Healthcare systems components.
