  • Abstract
Simulation of human flow in virtual reality system plays an important part in the research of microscopic human flow behaviour in disaster situations. But developing such simulation is a difficult work because of its inherent complexity. In this paper, we proposed a multi-agent simulation to analyze human flow characteristics in disaster affected area and the interaction mechanism among human or between human and affected area during the time of disaster. Especially, we had a close look at the behaviours which influence the human flow for collision avoidance and flow of victims in disaster situations. As a result, the human flow has been derived and it helps to reduce the amount of damage during the disaster situations. The derived output of the model and simulation is flexible and can be used in different conditions for any kinds of analysis.
