  • Abstract
In our last work we developed a reluctance type pressure transducer which was simple and low cost. Its theoretical analysis was presented. But its linearity was good for low pressure range, for high pressure range its linearity was hampered. But improvement in signal conditioning circuit can give some satisfactory result in high pressure range also. In this paper we have designed a microcontroller based signal conditioning system for pressure measurement using reluctance type pressure transducer with good accuracy. For maintaining accuracy of the system we have developed a novel method which is direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) technique and here it is used as a filter for eliminating low frequency noise hence it has been checked that it can increase system accuracy. It also fulfills the need of development of a microcontroller based data acquisition system for physical parameter measurement. This system can provide data for pressure measurement with very good accuracy.
