  • Abstract
    This paper describes the design of SAW device using withdrawal weighted transducer structure for RF band pass Filter. The proposed SAW filter consists of a uniform input IDT and withdrawal-weighted output IDT. The proposed design is intended for improvement of IDT insertion loss by means of a withdrawal weighting (WW) technique. Two different SAW filters structure are modeled. The Comsol Multiphysics is used to compare the output voltages in time domain & frequency domain for both filters and to realize the performance enhancement that is achieved by using the withdrawal weighted transducer.
