Energy resources potential of methane hydrate as potential fuel source

Methane Hydrates is the future of natural gas to meet its growing needs. For decades, gas hydrates have been discussed as a potential resource, particularly for countries with limited access to conventional hydrocarbons. Methane hydrates are a potential energy resource: A frequently quoted estimate of the global methane hydrate resource is 20,000 trillion cubic meters, or about 700,000 Tcf.
