  • Abstract
    Equivalent photon-lifetime and facet-reflectance are introduced into a simplified model to describe the dynamic behavior of FBG-ECL. Parameters are analyzed to get high frequency response. Single mode emission was obtained experimentally at 1 GHz modulation.
