Abstract
Denoising a video data is one of the well-known problems in the field of video processing. The problem is still drags focus of researchers due to its relevance in data transmission, video display and other machine vision applications. Though, several algorithms are proposed for denoising a video, most of them denoise it frame by frame considering the spatial information present in a scene. The algorithms, which exploit the temporal correlation between frames, are computationally expensive. In this paper, we propose an algorithm which denoises a video cube exploiting the spatio-temporal information using total variation based video decomposition.
