Abstract
In this paper, we report a basis pursuit-based method, for extracting micro-Doppler (m-D) radar signature from ground target. Because of small radar cross section (RCS) and low velocity, ground target detection is difficult and masked by Doppler spread ground clutter. In this high noise and clutter environment it is difficult to follow the m-D signature. Due to the micro-Doppler signal is considered as a sparse signal in the inverse Radon transform domain, the reconstruction of micro-Doppler signal can be an optimal problem. The Basis pursuit is a global optimization-based approach, efficiently de-noising and recovery the sparse represented signal. The simulation experiments are carried out for micro-Doppler signature extraction of different ground targets.
