Abstract
This paper presents a data analysis method to predict remaining useful life of aircraft engines based on running data. This paper formulates a model of CMPASS simulation data published by NASA based on run-to-failure exponential propagation model of aircraft engines. This method builds a damage propagation model library according to run-to-failure data of engines and matches the similarity of test data of engines with the model library to get prognostic remaining life. Through the experimental simulation results and PHM08 data link test results, this method shows a good prognostic ability in predicting remaining life, which can provide an effective reference for subsequent engine maintenance decision.
