Abstract
Space object recognition is an important part of the space surveillance mission, while high resolution imaging methods are the popular way in the space object recognition. Intensity correlation imaging method is one of the high-resolution imaging methods and it has favorable developing properties. However, the low SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) of measured spatial spectrum modulus acquired by intensity correlation array greatly affects the imaging quality. With noise analysis done in the beginning, the paper focuses on method of active illumination by laser to increase the detecting SNR of intensity correlation method. Analysis of the methods as well as the simulation of imaging results is also given in the paper.
