  • Abstract
Frequency domain equalization technology is an important component of physical layer technology for broadband wireless communication systems, which can effectively avoid the inter-symbol interference. The differential frequency hopping (DFH) communication is an effective method for anti-jamming, which uses the broadband frequency hopping (FH) spread spectrum. In this paper, we propose an equalization algorithm in frequency domain for broadband DFH systems: decision feedback sliding multi-hopping equalization algorithm in frequency domain (DF-SMH-FDE). The design and structure of this algorithm are given in detail. The simulation result of the algorithm shows the proposed algorithm is efficient to equalize the channel for the differential frequency hopping over a frequency-selective fading channel, and can improve the BER performance of the differential frequency hopping system.
