  • Abstract
The microphone array acoustic source localization is widely used in video conference system and voice robot. The presented localization method adopts the sound source ranging algorithm based on time difference of arrival (TDOA). The key issue of TDOA is the time delay estimation algorithm. In this article, a novel parameter identification based time delay calculating method is proposed. The validity of the method is proved by simulation experiment, and comparing with the traditional Cross-Correlation method. The results show that both algorithms have their own advantages. So we can choose one of the alternative algorithms according to different situations.
