Abstract
Location-based services (LBSs) are paid much attention to by not only the academic but also the industry. A large number of indoor localization approaches are proposed in recent years. However, each of them has its limitations. In this paper, a novel indoor localization scheme based on multi-approach data fusion is proposed and implemented in the ZigBee network. This scheme combines the estimates of several approaches, which are either range-based or range-free, to improve the precision and stability in indoor localization. Extensive experiments are carried out in order to demonstrate the good localization performances of the proposed scheme.
