Abstract
This paper represents an expert system which determines to what extant a building is risky. In this purpose, all the available systems to analyze the risk of a building are first examined. The existing systems are unable to handle uncertainty, which is actually a big challenge for analyzing the risk of a building. However, the rule based expert system, proposed in this paper is capable of capturing all the uncertainties during the risk analysis of a building. The proposed system is developed by using Rule based Inference Methodology Using Evidential Reasoning (RIMER) Approach. Signs of a risky building are considered by RIMER Approach to infer the risk level of a building. Experimented results show that the proposed system analyzes level of the risk more efficiently than the existing systems.
