Abstract
The effects of indium tin oxide (ITO) based anode work function modification on charge injection at anode/organic layer interface and charge transport into the organic layers of organic light emitting diode (OLED) have been investigated quantitatively through this numerical simulation work. The improvement of device performances due to this anode surface modification also explained in this work in terms of simulated current density-voltage-luminance (J-V-L) characteristic, efficiency and recombination zone.
