Abstract
The small physical size is a significant in the antenna design. Fractal geometry provides a good method for achieving the desired miniaturization performance. Therefore, apply 3rd Koch iteration technology to design miniaturization dipole element, and the operation frequency is 500MHz. Further, using the fractal antenna element to form uniform 5-element circular array, which is based on superdirective theory. The simulation and optimization have been carried out using FEKO software. The simulation results show that the directivity of designed model can realize 9.13dBi, which provides a good performance than conventional line array.
