Generalised Early factor for compact modelling of bipolar transistors with non-uniform base

The standard Early factor of the Gummel-Poon bipolar transistor model is generalised for non-uniform base applications, introducing new expressions for the effective base-emitter and base-collector junction biases. It provides sufficient flexibility for the accurate modelling of the forward and reverse Early effects, requiring only minor modifications of the existing compact modelling procedures.
